After your home inspection is complete, you will receive a detailed and comprehensive inspection report; which will serve as your guide for as long as you own the home. It not only describes the house components and their condition, but it also provides insight into what improvements will be necessary, and when.
The home inspection report you receive describes each of the major systems of the home, including:

The report addresses the condition of each of these systems. Any recommended repairs, replacements or improvements are clearly documented; providing you with a list of issues or concens to bring up to the buyer/seller prior to any contractual agreements.
For those requiring still further explanation, the reference material in the report provides additional insight.
Lastly, it is recommended that you meet with your home inspector at the end of the inspection. At that point, the inspector will go over the details of the inspection, as well as clear up any questions you may have about the report.
